Participating Agents Help Fund Local Pediatric Treatment, Equipment & Programs
Dartmouth - Halifax August 8th, 2013 — As RE/MAX kicks off its second annual “Month of Miracles” in August, RE/MAX nova celebrates IWK Health Centre Foundation, a member of Children’s Miracle Network. This is the 17th year RE/MAX nova has supported the local member CMN Hospital, donating a total of $320,000 to date by raising funds through our Annual Auction, BBQ's, and Agent donations.
Since 1992, RE/MAX and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across the U.S. and Canada have partnered to raise more than $123 million for 170 member hospitals across North America, with local hospitals determining how funds are needed most.
RE/MAX Associates have many opportunities to take part in supporting their local Children’s Miracle Network member hospital. RE/MAX Miracle Agents are dedicated supporters who pledge to make a donation after each property sale. Miracle Home yard signs help agents identify themselves as supporters of local pediatric giving.
Anyone interested in finding the perfect home — and helping their Children’s Miracle Network member hospital in the process — can visit www.remaxnova.ca and www.remax.ca to search listings.
"Miracle Agents and Miracle Offices are unique in that they recognize the value of two things: the comfort a home can provide, and the need for sick and injured children to get the best care possible," said John Lauck, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals president and CEO. "The RE/MAX Network's dedication to our member hospitals is reflected in the donations made through Miracle Home and Miracle Property transactions, and other community fundraisers and events. We are excited to see what miracles may come in this second annual Miracle Month of recognition and awareness.”
