The Fall River/Waverley area has a wide variety of single-family homes to choose from. There are many different subdivisions that are well planned and offer spacious lots, some with lake frontage. All homes have septic systems and most have wells, although some subdivisions do offer municipal water service. 

Living in Fall River 

Surrounded by lakes and forests, the area is one of the most scenic in the HRM.  Fall River is a growing and vibrant community with new subdivisions, several shopping areas and schools that are among the best in the Halifax area. It also has an active community centre, several churches and medical offices. Located just down the Waverley Road is the community of Waverley, which has an elementary school and is home to an active canoe and kayak club. Both communities are located near the Halifax Stanfield International Airport and are about 20 kilometres from Halifax and offer quick access to the Trans-Canada Highway.
