It's Auction Time!
Spring is just around the corner and we at RE/MAX nova are preparing for our Annual Charity Auction in support of the Children’s Miracle Network. RE/MAX real estate professionals believe in giving back to the communities in which they live and work. As proud supporters of the Children’s Miracle Network, a non profit organization serving more than 170 children’s hospitals, RE/MAX has raised over $100 million over the past 18 years with over $35.5 million raised in Canada alone.
Our dedicated sales representatives donate a portion of their commission from every sale directly to the IWK Health Care Foundation to assist in providing medical care, research and education. Our auction is planned, organized and operated by our entire team on a volunteer basis but we still rely heavily on the generosity of people like YOU! Last year’s event raised a whopping $25,000+ with all proceeds going directly to the Children’s Miracle Network to benefit us right here in Atlantic Canada. We aim to beat that number this year but we need your help!
We are asking for businesses and individuals alike to consider donating items suitable for auction and/or door prizes for this very worthy cause. Agents and staff of RE/MAX nova will be out in our communities soliciting donations and we ask that you give generously. If you would like to submit a donation and have not yet been contacted by one of our representatives, please contact Cheryl Canning at 468-3400 or drop in to our office at 7 Mellor Avenue, Unit 1 in Dartmouth by April 23rd.
Even if you cannot donate, we welcome you to come out to bid on hundreds of great items. The auction will be held on Saturday, April 26th at Brewster’s Pub in Bedford (at the base of Hammonds Plains Road). Doors open at 6:30 with the auction, hosted by C100’s Peter Harrison, beginning at 7:00pm. This is a public event, a great night out and we would love to see you there!
