Welcome to a world of opportunity, style, privilege and excitement, yet a world of boxes and thousands of things to pack unpack and a lot to get overwhelmed by! This is my world on a daily basis! Stressful? Not a bit. Knowledge, patience and a good strong coffee can settle even the busiest day. After years of moving, searching for the perfect spot to call home, packing, unpacking, and relocating sometimes twice a year for job related reasons, I think I’ve got a handle on it. Having to go over the process several times I know first hand how challenging searching for the perfect place can become, not to mention all the stress of having to sell your home. For all that, it really is rewarding. Once the last box has been tossed away and the family gathers around the table a sense of accomplishment and pride takes over. I have made it my job to moderate your stress when buying or selling by offering you the tools to make an informed decision. A decision that for many of us is one of the most serious in life. A house is definitely one of the most expensive purchases a family can make, and to me, getting you your money’s worth is my priority.
My name is Emmanuella. I was born in Greece, raised in the Middle East and I have travelled Europe, Africa, the Far East, Australia and of course North and Central America. Having studied and worked within many cultures and languages, I have gained a keen awareness of cultural sensitivities, diversity, art and styles. During my travels I believe I have discovered much about people and living. This is what my own ancestors called ESTIA; another word for "home" and probably what has drawn me to choose a professional path in real estate in the first place. Besides English, Greek and Italian, I also communicate in Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese and I am learning ASL (American Sign Language). With 20 years of International Customer Service, numerous courses and exhibitions, I pride myself in facilitating clients of diverse backgrounds, while enabling them to envision the potential in any opportunity. Combining my skills, personality and expertise and understanding that the purchase of a home can be one of the most important decisions your family will make, I do my utmost to make it an enjoyable and well informed experience. I am self- motivated, hard-working, loyal and committed to helping you find the special location that you will call home.
How I’ve started...
I taught Italian in Athens, Greece at Tsandaki Language Institute before joining the airline industry for almost 14 years; five of which was with the private airline of an Arabian Royal Family. I have participated in many exhibitions during my career and attended quality service and customer awareness seminars. In 2001 became part of the Gulf Air Resource Management training team. I have translated professionally from Greek, English and Italian and worked on developing airline technical manuals. Real Estate came into the picture after years of buying, selling and investing in properties with my husband in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Ontario. I thought that drawing on our experiences coupled with my history in customer service I could make a valuable contribution to the real estate community.
Today I am proud to be an associate broker with RE/MAX Nova. I have a BA in Art History and I am presently studying and working towards an EMBA in Real Estate Leadership.
